Congrats to you!!! I am going to question mine when I go back as it is currently at .125mg and it was because my TSH was high.

Just to let you know: what looks like a “small” increase, may in fact be enough. Thyroid hormone regulation requires fine-tuning, and little changes can make a big difference.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

I am so excited…my GP’s nurse called me this morning and they are increasing my dose of synthroid!!! Not by much but at least it is something. I called them back and wanted my Cholesteral (1st time in 4 years it has been checked) and TSH numbers. Was put on hold for 10 minutes then the nurse came on and gave them to me, hesitantly. But I finally did get them!!! My Cholesteral is at 236, 4 years ago, at time of diagnosis, it was 145.

My TSH (only thyroid level I have had checked since 7/96) is at
7.43…their ‘normal’ range is 0.49 – 4.70 … a little higher than he wants to see it <g/>” title=”<g>” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> So he just called in the perscription for me and told me to start it immediately. Am going from .075 to .088. Doesn’t sound like a very big increase but at least it is a start!!!</p>
<p>I also told his nurse about the special chat tonight and invited any of the 3 of them from the office to attend. I hope that is okay, not that they will come, but I can dream can’t I. <img decoding=

It seems so insane to be sooooo excited about a very small increase in a very small pill but I am. I had to share it with someone and you all are it. Thanks for all the support and encouragement and pointing to the paths for me to start looking. I’m never gonna leave here you know
          Big *HUGZ* to everyone.
