    Good Morning Troopers,

I hope everyone is doing OK here and hanging in there. Well, I go back to Standford Medical Center on Monday for them to look at my eyes. At the end of this month is will have been six months since the radiation treatments. But so far there has really been no big improvements and still seeing the doouble vision all the time. My last blood work showed the t3 and t4 levels were doing good and my hormones were also balanced. My endo has changed and lowered the thyroid meds too! Now if we could just get the right eye back on track. The only thing left for me is the eye surgery to remove some of the fatty tissue behind the eye in hopes it will go back into the socket right. When I was taking the steriods they did not help the swelling but I quess they kept the disease in the eye from getting any worse so it just kept the eye stable all around.

But the eye is not sticking out so far like it was when all this started. The specialist who treated me for the radiation tells me that if we have to go this way this surgey deal will be a big surgery for me. Has anybody out there had this type of surgery before? And if so how did you come out and did it restore your vision? I also have other issue going on too! Might have this fibromaylgia disease (I know I did not spell it right) seeing another specialist for that. I have read about this fibromaylgia disease and it is not nice. One just hurts all the time.

My attituide since all of this and other things that have come up wrong with me is “what ever” I am not giving up and still will fight the fight but health has not been kind to me in the a long time. So what ever comes up I will deal with it like I always do. It just gets to be to much some time cause as soon as I think I am getting healthy again and feeling like my old self here comes something else.

Oh well, I think that is what life is all about the ups and downs. Everyone take care and hang in there.

ARE WE ALL READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

GO OAKLAND RAIDERS! GO RAIDERS! GO RAIDERS! GO RAIDERS!

    Charlene
