      I was put on prednisone (120 mg/day) when I was first diagnosed with ophthalmopaty as the proptosis was already pretty severe and my sight was being affected.

          For those of you that are on or have been on prednisone- when did you/your doc know when to put you on it? Was it when you really couldn’t function because of your sight?? I was just put on FML eye drops, an anti-inflammatory and it has helped a lot. Did anyone try this first, then have to go on prednisone???
