Hi Vickie, Sorry for the abbreviations! RAI is radioactive iodine, the treatment for Graves’ that destroys the thyroid. GD is Graves’ disease. BB is bulletin board. Hmmnnn…any others?? You had RAI, right? I think we may have better luck with a general doc over an endo. They are easier to get into see for one thing! I do not think once a year is enough if you were just treated this past year. Are you part of an HMO that limits your follow-up?
