SOOOO Frustrated!!! I received emails on how wonderful tear duct
plugs were. Read bulletins #10 and #28 ( thanks Debby! )
It sounds like just what I need. Called my Optho to inquire. Got his
crabby, forgive me for saying so but it’s true, secretary AGAIN!
She said he does perform the precedure, but will have to speak to
him about my inquiry. I guess I will hear back in a couple months!
I don’t understand this. I have had problems with dry eyes even before
Graves. I don’t know why he never mentioned this to me. It sounds
like a great thing for people suffering from dry eye syndrome.
I have given up on trying to figure out doctors, it just causes
me anxiety. BUT I DO WANT A SWEET UNDERSTANDING DOCTOR THAT CARES
You GD’ers that have found them, count your blessings

I need some info about hair. My hair is falling out. I have been on
Tapazole since late February. The dosage has been decreased down to 5mg
a day for past month. Am I not getting enough or to much? My levels seem
to be in normal range except for TSH. I am taking vitamins and do try to
eat healthy. I don’t color my hair either. A’la natural. I do have a perm.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. You can E-mail me or post.

I often had hair loss when my replacement dosage or medication changed.
Now it’s all the time. Alopecia is an autoimmune disease associated
with GD. There is a news group for it under alt.support.
