Thanks for the feed back. The reason for no prisms, acording to my endo, is that
that the dergree of double vision still varies most of the time it is right eye over left ey but evry once in a
while I have pretty good vision for a couple of hours a day a couple of times a week.
I do a lot of computer work so I bought two pairs of clip on sunglasses for my regualr glasses.
one one set I cut off the right lens on the other set I cut off the left lense and then
put black construction paper over the remaining lense. So when I work I use one eye at a time when one gets tired
I just use the other clip on. Seems to work better than a normal Eyepatch. I noticed people
don’t come around my desk much any more, wonder if my fashion sense in eye wear has them on edge. In any event thanks for
taking the time to reply. I have only been fiting this for a few motnhs so I guess I’m still in the
optimistic stage and working to stay there. This support group is really very helpful.

I covered up one lense of my glasses with electrical tape when my double vision first appeared, got lots of comments about that one! I then graduated to painting over one lense with black paint. My right eye is the worst tho so I always covered that one.

Check with the eyeglass makeres, they have clipon things to occlude one eye (cover it up). I couldn’t use the eye patches at all since my proptosis was so bad it was very uncomfortable. My eyes even hit on sunglass lenses.

If someone wants this clip-on occluder I have to cover up one eye, e-mail me and I’ll send it to the first one! :)
