Thanks for your responses to my message. I’m currently tracking down the name of an endocrinologist in my area that works with people with GD. I have been off all medication for 5 days now. My family physician says to wait 8 weeks and see what the tests reveal then. If I am still hyper at that point, I will contact them.
It has been really nice to find the bulletin board where so many questions are asked and answered. I’m just now beginning to realize that many of the changes I had noticed about myself may very well be related to GD.
