Diane, has your doctor checked your adrenal gland function? I was in a similar state – unexplained weightloss, rapid pulse and heartbeat, high rather than low BP, crying all the time, etc. – and all my doc did was shrug and say my TSH was ‘normal’. I found another doctor who listened and immediately asked if I had ever had my adrenal gland function tested. Of course not! She told me that people with thyroid disease – especially if you’re on the hyper/RAI/hypo rollercoaster, frequently get secondary adrenal problems. She tested me and sure enough my adrenals were barely functioning. Please find a doctor who will listen and who will realize that physical medical problems can be caused by serious ailments and not just ‘in our heads’. I am now taking a natural form of cortisone and feel much better. Since the cortisone replaces a deficiency in my body I am NOT having any side-effects. Good luck.
