I woke up today with my throat hurting so bad even when I swallow. My throat is swollen. I’m scheduled to go back to the endo tomorrow morning. I remeber that someone else on the BB also had a swollen throat after RAI. I am now 6 weeks post RAI. Is this normal or abnormal? I also got on my scales last night and now I have lost 120 pounds since February.I have gone from a size 22 to a 10/12. If I wasn’t sick with Graves I’d be in hog heaven but this weight loss is scaring me. I eat and eat and still lose. I know that means my thyroid is still very hyper. But since I’m losing weight so fast again and my throat is swollen does that mean the RAI isn’t working? Can I put a cold compress on my throat to help with swelling and pain? I need some advice.
