Just a question regarding a symptom my wife has
been experiencing recently, to see if anyone knows whether it
is common– there have been several instances where she
has had her skin tear and bleed easily. They took blookd
in the doctors office the other day and when she pulled the
bandaid off, it tore the skin off too.

Does anyone know if this is common to graves’ or is this
another problem?

Hi, Ken:

Being hyperthyroid can make the skin become “thin and delicate” according to my books. This is, I think, one of those symptoms that will go away, though, once we’ve been at normal levels of hormone long enough.
