Niki, you commented that you crawl into bed and get the itching. Have you considered this “crazy idea”. Maybe your itching reaction is maybe an allergic reaction to something in your bed, pillow, laundry detergent or something you eat. Do you itch, rash all day?? Is it only after you eat?? After you put on clothes?? After you get into bed?? If its after you get into bed what is your bed ritual – soap, tea, etc.?? Maybe its your sheets, comforter, pillow, down, feathers, polyester. Even things dry cleaned can emit fumes for weeks that can suddenly cause reactions in people.

Good Luck. Let me know. Tricia

The itching began a few days ago, and for two days was a 24-hour long ordeal. In bed it was the most intense because I wasn’t up thinking and moving and doing. The itching has become less intense – hardly any today, but last night my hands itched unbelievably. I can’t think of any environmental change, and becuase my doctor attributed the intense itching to a PTU reaction, I guess I’m assuming that this is the tail end of the problem.
