Hello, I wanted to thank you, Gwen, for giving me your optho’s name and phone number in PA. I called last week, and although the doc was out of town, a very nice office person named Kathy listened to my spiel and told me that if I would call back the next Wed. she would ask the doc if she could recommend any docs in my area (Dallas/Ft Worth). This Wed. I was out of the office until 3 and when I got in there was a voicemail from Kathy that she had 2 referral names for me. And it was my lucky day ’cause they are both on my insurance plan!!! So I made an appt. with one of them, and I go in on July 10. I will take my cat scan that my other ophtho ordered but hasn’t seen yet since my appt. isn’t til 7/15. I had some issues the other day and he did call me back, but when I said “I’ve been reading on the BB that scarring can happen, and i’m concerned, he said “maybe you should quit reading so much on the BB.” That just frustrates me. So I’m optimistic that this new guy will hopefully be more sympathetic or at least humor me and answer my questions. And DO something to help me out. I’ll keep ya’ll posted, and thanks again so much Gwen!
