HI Guys
I just want to let you all know that I appreciate the help. The email and posts are great and I cant tell you what a relief it is to hear so many positive stories and so many answers.
I realize that alot of the people who didnt have many problems are not likely to post but boy was I scared before I figured that out. Sometimes I still cry, so afraid of the unknown.
I’m wondering if it isnt better to avoid RAI and hypothyroidism as long as possible cuz it sure looks like the symptoms are worse than hyper.
I think the eye disease is scarier because there are no preventive treatments, you just have to wait til its already happened.

I was just sitting here eating my lunch and thinking about how I was going to get my computer up and running at home so we could get back to the business of running this BB. I realized we were tired Jan and I and the computer being down gave us a break. We need one every once in awhile.

Thank you for keeping posting and thank those of you who have volenteered to help with the BB and the Web site. We are growing by leaps and bounds and one or two people cannot keep up with all of this. Many nights Jan and I think of you all and discuss what we can do to help or who we can call to get answers. Now many others are doing the same thing with us.

We keep you in our prayers and think of you all often. We will be back when we get our computer up and running. In the mean time the others who have volunteerd to help will be there for you.

Thank you for being there for us when we needed to vent or ask questions. Didn’t mean to come across sappy here but we am glad to call many of you our friends even if we never met you. Just sometimes you need to tell friends thanks for being there.

Jake you and Jan deserve a break. For the 2 years that
I have known you, since finding this wonderful BB, You both
have been a great source of comfort to me. I never met
anyone else personally with GD. This group is now a
part of my life and I would be lost without it, and the
wonderful inspiring people that I have come to know
and love during these last couple years. I would like
to say thank you to you and Jan, your terrific.
