I’m not a doctor, but if you have a TSH of 67, I would say you are WAY hypothyroid. That’s pretty high. I thought I felt horrible with a TSH of 12! As for the T-4 being low, it’s because not enough thyroid hormone, whether it be what your body produces naturally, or the synthetic replacement thyroid hormone we take orally, is floating around in your body. Thus, the high TSH level, because your pituatary hormone is sending out “thyroid stimulating hormone” wanting more T-4, if that makes any sense to you. That’s how my endo explained it to me. As for the T-3, I’m a little ignorant on that, I think it has something to do with the liver and it converting the T-4 into the T-3, or something like that….Anyone else…Help I’m having a brain fade….
