I have been hyper over the last several months, and my last bloodwork came back very HYPO. I feel terrible, can all these aches and pains, etc. be from this? I have never been hypo before, can someone give me a list of syptoms? Does it affect your sinuses? Depression? Mood? I need som input, I feel like I am losing it.

The Mining Company has a good website with information about being hypo and hyper. That’s a good source for a symptom list. When I’m hypo, I generally feel REALLY LOUSY!!!! Sleep a lot (10 hours a night, 2-3 hour naps.) I have a much harder time concentrating than when I’m hyper. Weight gain, heavy periods, hair loss. It really stinks. (I don’t know whether it affects sinuses — could just be allergies, on top of being hyper. What a lousy combination!)

I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Dee, thanks for writing…the only reason he gives about only ordering the T3 is that he says my TSH would be 0 and T3 would give a clearer picture on how things are going for me…..i do have an appt. again in July to see how my S

is working for me….the only complaint i have with the TRH and being hypo is muscle cramps and aches….and very heavy periods, he says this should clear in the next month or two so we’ll see….otherwise i feel pretty good….
