I know that stress can be one of the triggers of Graves,
but once treatment has begun and levels are fairly stabilized,
can stress still play a part? The only reason I an confused is that
I had RAI in March, my levels had started to go down, but now, with
fulltime work and an 11 hour school schedule, I feel that my levels
are going back up. I just assumed that after RAi levels continually
go down until hypothyroidism and replacement start. Is this not
    necessarily true?
    Thanks, Lesli

I don’t remember who posted about stress and Graves but I find
that my symptoms are very much magnified when I am under a lot of
stress. Actually, this makes sense for everybody. Perfectly
healthy people get terrible symptoms when stressed, stuff like
gastrointestinal illness, stomach ache, constipation and diahhrea (sp?)
Our poor little overactive systems must go nuts under extreme stress.
For me, it’s just one more area where I must be careful. Just a
    thought.

    regards …Carolyn
