In spite of all we’re going through, and all my symptoms
try to tell me otherwise, God is good.
He identifies with our suffering and has made provision.
Surley He has borne our sicknesses
And carried our pains
He was wounded for our transgressions
He was crushed for out iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him
And by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53: 4-5
When my heart pounds, or when it’s 52 degrees outside and I feel
like a tee-shirt is too warm, I remind myself of Isaiah 53
and remember that God is faithful.
