      Hi, Wanda:

      When your levels get more normal, your sleep patterns WILL improve as well. I got some help through this with beta blockers (taking one at night calmed the racing heart, if not the racing brain), and also by initiating a nightly “wind-down” ritual. I soaked in a warm bath with aromatic oils, and sipped chamomile tea, before going to bed. It did not help me to sleep the entire night through, but it made me calmer about the whole experience, so the sleep I did get was more effective, I think.

      Hang in there. It will get better.
