Hi SAS! Boy, can I relate to seeing a double performance! I went with my girlfriends to a Neil Simon play to help celebrate her 40th birthday – after decompression surgery. The whole stage was double and I saw most of the performance with one eye covered. But hey, twice the fun – right?!
My second lid retractions really helped with eye closure, even though my left eye is slightly droopy. I feel that this stage of my GD is now under control (fingers crossed), and I’m able to sleep nights without eye lube or bandanas! You can see my eye pics on my home page at http://www.cris.com/~bwjass/debby
Sorry I can’t help you with the insomnia issue. For your computer, is there any way of setting the font to a larger size? My tinted reading glasses seem to help cut down on the monitor glare. I wonder if light sunglasses would do the same? Is there any way of linking your office computer to your home computer? After my sister-in-law gave birth to her second and third children, she stayed at home and did all of her office work in the comfort and convenience of home. (Not much of a child care leave, if you ask me.)
Anyway, best of luck at your doctor’s appointment on Monday!
Happy New Year! Debby
