Thanks Redhen, now I can get to the report and have my neighbor print it out for me.**** Gia, thanks for telling others about your treatments. Remember, it is not a cure, but a means for stopping it from gettimg worse.this treatment has been done for years. But recently it has been improved and refined, It also is a fairly new discovery that the sooner it is done the better. It used to be done as a last resort along with surgery. Now it is used to stop the progression. The surgery is more successful when the eyes have stopped all progression. So often the eyes were in such a bad state that surgery had to done to save the sight. But there can still be probems when the eyes are still being attacked by the antibodies. The radiation is done to stop the antibodies from attacking the muscles. Then the muscles start to heal. The swelling and inflamation goes down causing the pressure to be better and the puffiness and some bulging to ease up.Then surgery can be done to correct the double vision and protruding.Finding a good radiologist is very important and from what I hear not so easy to do.I didn’t mean to go on about this again. But I’m trying so hard to be clear about this treatment. If anyone has questions, feel free to E-mail me….gwen
