    Dear Jeanine,
To answer your question, the people who post here are either newly diagnosed warriors, people who continue to have problems(which is relatively a small percentage) or the “old” warriors who have been here to help out since the begining of this BB’s inception!

This is a disease in which you must have patience and you will need support and understanding! Know that we are all here whenever you need us. Arm yourself with all the info you can get your hands on! Knowledge is the power!

As for the new job, how much stress is involved? Stress tends to make the symptoms worse with graves’disease. However, if it’s a job you have really wanted maybe you should try it. If things get to bad for you, then maybe you can mention to your boss about graves’ and that it is only a temporary setback and will improve with treatments.
The mental aspects are due to the chemical imbalances going on within your body right now. I can tell you my observations with Jake and mental
“fog”. If he does not get enough sleep, he is really, how shall I put this, out there, and grasping for the words to express himself! He calls it, “the train has left the station”. That pretty much describes it, too!

Sorry to get so lengthy with this response, my mind is also wandering this morning. Feel free to email if you need us.

    Regars and well wishes,
    JAN, OLF
