Good point, DEE! This is precisely why we stress the importance of a baseline eye exam by a qualified graves opthalmologist! Jake and I stress this over and over again! And an annual exam thereafter is an excellent idea.
I am sooooo sorry I opened the eye can of worms here and feel no one read what I wrote. Or maybe you all misunderstood me(happens frequently!). I said, my baby sister had graves eye disease and DOES NOT HAVE GRAVES, PER SAY!!! NO MEDS, NO RAI, NO SURGERY!!! HER THYROID IS FINE!!!
I do think I will refrain from sharing this again and stick to helping with your questions. That way it cuts down on the confusion factors.
