Hi Kathy…That’s such a horrible story, I shudder to think of what a horrible experience for you! Hospitalized for 6 months!?! When was this and how old are you now? Are you still having Grave’s symptoms or are you in remission? I bet your parents feel badly for their assumptions of using drugs in your case once you were diagnosed…they sure should. I’m 48 years old, just diagnosed 2 months ago, had my 1st dose or radio active iodine, still no results. Rather than repeat what I’ve already written, see previous entries I’ve made. Where do you live now ? Thanks for sharing your story…things can be worse, I see.
