I remember those sleepless nights so well! I wish I had internet access two years ago when my booming heartbeat and racing thoughts kept me up all night–would’ve been a welcome diversion from my doom-laced thoughts (e.g., “I must be having a heart attack. Maybe I should go sleep on my daughter’s floor since she knows CPR” :o) I know how hard sleep deprivation makes life, but glad you know the real cause in your case. Your post made me realize how wonderful it is not to hear my heart pounding at night anymore. I hope your sleepless nights are soon just a memory for you as well!!!
