Hi…Suzanne it took 7 months on Tapazole for my TSH to come into the normal range. Then it happened fast, going from 0.07 to 0.6 in six weeks. My T-3 and T-4 were normal first. That is how the system works…and it takes a while for the messages of hormones in the blood stream to be responded to…all the recalibration of these fine systems.
We sure are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Be sure that you are watched closely now to avoid going hypo ( too low). I dropped a little too low shortly after things were briefly “perfect” My eyes acted up immediately. I woke this morning and have a swollen eye..
and I started reviewing signs and symptoms..yep, was drowsy yesterday, pulse is down, bowels slow, etc. Fortunately I go to the endo today so he will have last weeks blood test and can help me reassess the amount of Anti-thyrois I currently need. Best to you.
