Hi John – As I remember it Lisa had frequent blood work done following the
first RAI treatment. She ended back on PTU and was stabalized for a second
time. Fortunately, about a year later the second dose was successful.
My heart goes out to all of you who are suffering with this disease. Hang
in there with your doctors, but don’t be afraid to seek another opinion.
That’s what we did. Lisa needed an endocrinologist that she felt
comfortable with and trusted. IT DOES GET BETTER.
