Read the labels before you take anything! My doctor said, generally speaking, that antihistimes are okay and decongestants are not, but it’s a good idea to read the label thoroughly to be sure. BTW, my doctor didn’t tell me this on her own–I asked after reading somewhere (I think on the info that came with my beta blocker) to check with doctor before taking over the counter cold medications.
