Hi! I’m so happy to have found you on the net. I’m 6 weeks pregnant (second child, fist one is 9 months- I know it’s a bit fast!…) and I’ve been diagnosed with the GD. I must admit, I’m scared to death. I’m seeing the endo next week. Would you be kind enough to tell me more about the medication you’re taking and the side effects. I was told my GD is associated with postpartum any clue about this?

Hi, I am also Pregnant,due in sept. I also have GD. I went through my
last pregnancy with GD but did not know it.Baby was fine and healthy.
this time I am worried since I am taking ptu, about 150mg/day. I started
to get the eye problems in the 7th month of the last pregnancy. I will
eventually have to have the eye surgery since one eye is really bad and
the other one is catching up. I will be calling my endo on mon. He is on
vacation now. I think my medication will be changing. So let me know
what you are doing too.
