Thanks for the e-mail support when I was nervous about my Doctors appointments on Tuesday. It all went OK and my levels are on the high side of normal so my Endo suggests we just leave any thought of another RAI for now – and that is FINE with me. He thought that numbing in my leg is a pinched nerve and gave me some exercises to do.
My eye seems to be coming along the way it should. I am to use more ointment at night and more drops for relief. They want to wait another two months before any operations – so I do have more time to think about it an get nervous.
I actually saw several people in my Ophthals waiting room who had Graves Eye disease worse than I do and made me realize I could be worse. In the next few weeks I have a birthday and we have several nice things to do as well as planning a few days at Whistler, a wonderful ski resort we have here which is also great in the summer. So I’m just going to enjoy, try to live one day at a time and keep smiling.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and you all keep smiling too! SAS
