Lisa, I am no authority, but have been on Tapazole only for l week now. I’m on 40 mg a day and will have blood work in a week; and maybe it will be lowered. I’m doing this to get my thryroid under control before RAI. But, so far so good and I usually don’t take medication very well; I’m also on Verapamil to control my heart. This isn’t a beta blocker as I can’t take them due to asthma. Let me know how you do on it and I’ll do the same! Good luck!
