Whew, I am a trying to “catch up” reading posts that
you all wrote while I was camping….pretty pretty mountains.
Anyway I am up to ,not through April 2…so here is my contribution
for now.
A reminder…the subject box is important, that is if your subject is
important ”) But seriously…you were all helping one another, I think cold meds was the subject but they are
all labeled “white chocolate” hey…maybe that works for colds.
JOAN RYAN asked for ideas to educate docs…LUCI wondered about how to organize all
this info…Hey I have an idea, how about a SURVEY??? DEJA MOO ( who said that?)
and thank you for all who have answered it.( JULIE JONES e-mailed you but it came back…
anyone can update survey info by e-mailing info directly to me.
Regarding other questions… The Survey is not yet made PUBLIC, but
will be “soon” in a confidental format. Nancy Patterson,
(directress of NGDF)and I are discussing how to best do this…We will
ask you all to remember that this anecdotal information has it’s
limitations…we have to be careful about the conclusions we draw….but
I think it will be of help and you can print the screen and take it to
your docs.
My doc has seen a preliminary print out of the first 100,I look forward
to his further comments. He has already been
helpful, professional and has the winsom character quality of
apparent humility, so I don’t think the record of symptoms was any shock
to him…but he expressed real interest, I think he has a continued
interest in learning.
Wasn’t PATRICIA’s doc description/compliment a good read?
Someone asked “could we get DOCS to read this BB?” I can attest,
days behind as I am, that reading this BB takes time and energy. As spring sprungs
I will be out in the sun more and more…bet the docs will too..
but think of all that a doc would have to scroll though. This is primarily
a support board…much needed .
Another idea Nancy has mentioned, is
increasing our awareness of where on the board specially “packed”
posts are. She needs your help to organize topics and locate
good posts. Sometimes, when a new person comes on, don’t you want to
tell them specific things ?(IN ADDITION TO THE FAQ’s which you should
go read new friends on the NGDF HOME PAGE) Once you make
connections on the board purely personal notes can be e-mailed
streamlining the scroll through message experience for those hard
working facilatators.
Okay..I’ll post this and write another post to say a few more specific things to some of the posts I read.
