      Audrey:

I don’t know who said you had two weeks to decide, but if you aren’t in danger of dieing, take all the time you need to research. YOU are having the treatment, whatever it is, YOU are paying the bills, and YOU will be the one to live with the consequences of the decision, no one else. I researched, and after a particularly bad time with ATDs, personally chose RAI. That was my personal choice. Others choose to go the ATD route with rousing success. Others choose surgery.

The bottom line is, YOU tell them, they don’t tell you. Find out everything you can, discuss it with your family and loved ones, and then, when you can make an INFORMED decision, make the decision that YOU and you alone can live with most comfortably. As with any medical decision in this world, you have to become informed and be proactive. But, no matter what your decision, we are all here for you and with you and will listen and pray for you.
