Tom, my main concern is not so much in the surgery itself, but the possibility of loss of vision, due to the surgery since she has graves disease. The sinus area and protrusion of the eye are so close together it could possibly cause problems. The dr today said he could see no problem with her sinus, that he wanted an xray and then he would discuss the findings later. I am wondering if its not the sinus, she still has balance problems, fullness in her ears, and an earlier xray showed she has no sinus in her forehead , makes me wonder just what is going on. I will just have to wait and see what the xrays show I guess. Seems like you have to diagnois yourself before you go to the dr. ANyway, thats how I feel.
