Hi Caren, just read your message to em. I too, had all the symptoms you mentioned as well as swollen ankles. This was after RAI. The Endo I was seeing said because I was in the normal range it must be something else and I should go back to my GP. My GP was furious and suggested getting another Endo (which I did). However before I got to that Endo I had a scare with something showing on my mammogram. It was many mammograms, two biopsies and three months later before I found out the mass they spotted was benign. It is felt that those three months of stress that went on inside my body not knowing if I had breast cancer and going through the biopsies (I am terrified of needles and hospitals) probably precipitated my Graves Eye Disease problem. If I had had proper treatment sooner or the Endo that didn’t see me because my blood tests showed in the normal range had noticed the beginnings of the eye disease it may have been prevented from becoming as severe as it has. Maybe if you don’t get a better response from your Endo next month you should look around for another one. Remember it’s your body and your health! Take care. SAS
