Hi Joan! I too am deaf as well as having this bloody graves now hypo.
My type of deafness is the osteclerosis thing which is hereditary and
affects the main speech decibels my loss is 75db on the 1000hz(bugger it)
But the consolation prize is you learn to talk well because your deafness
worsens as you get older. Can you tell me where you got your information
about thyroid hormones affecting calcium etc? Was it a book? Do you have
the eye problems (because I was deaf my endo said the RAI wouldn’t be the
best option for me surgery would be better – what happened with you?) Sorry
about the questions.
