I dont really have information on this – I would have to do research.
However my impression is that mental problems are due to untreated GD.
Recently I have spoken to many people with ex- or longterm- thyroid problems and they seem fine.
I really dont think you should panic. If I come across something in the literature I’ll post it on the board but at the moment we’re just stabbing in the dark.
