Saw my opthalmologist yesterday. Prior to this latest visit my doctor felt that I should have decompression surgery. Now he feels that this would not be a good idea because my eyes are so inflamed again. He is suggesting that I consider having radiation treatments. Problem is I had this procedure done in April, 1995. At that time I had 10 treatments which did reduce the swelling slightly. Has anyone out there had radiation treatments twice? Any thoughts on the subject? Thanks!

I had radiation treatments twice for ten days each time. I still hadto have decompression surgery in both eyes. On reflection, it wasworth the try. If it doesn’t work you go from there. I am in myfifth year of fighting with Graves Disease. You will get better. The radiation didn’t bother me either time. Good Luck.
