Hi Keith!yes,I put on 50 lbs after RAI,and its been 7 years of
battling never losing more than 25lb,and always gaining it
back…However I have always been over weight to begin with, and think
I can’t take the sugar, turns to fat on me.Pumping iron has been most
helpful, and low carb will take off the lbs if you can stick with
    it.Best of luck.

It’ tough, after eating all you want and still lose weight and then they “fix” your thyroid and suddenly, what you eat wants to stay around! I have found Weight Watchers a good way to eat well nutritionally and have support while you watch the food intake. I’m sure there are many other weight support groups as well. I have resigned myself that I may have to attend WW meetings for the rest of my life to regulate my weight but in a way it is reassuring to have a place to go to keep focused. Good luck, it’s not easy, I know, but you can do it!
