Is this the diet that 20/20 profiled a couple of times? Isn’t it the drug combo that produced a terminal and untreatable disease in a woman on the drugs? K

I think I remember something about this diet being on the O.W. Show. It has to be prescribed by a doctor because it involves the taking of prescription drugs, doesn’t it? Would someone with a thyroid dysfunction be eligible? I’m afraid I’m an old fashioned girl when it comes to this dieting business. More drugs? Not for me, thanks.

All I really know is that you take 2 meds that reduce your desire to eat AND that Phen-Fen drugs do not mix with neurotransmitter re uptake drugs eg. some antidepressants and some migraine meds. Be careful
