Just a note to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers this week. What a huge accomplishment to have your gifts bought and wrapped and the condo decorated in spite of your health!! A real labor of love to your family. They are lucky to have you !!
For what it’s worth—last Christmas with Graves was Hell for me. I had to turn down all invitations also, but by God’s grace this Season is really blessed. Looking back I wonder that I am even alive, and I give thanks. Hang in there–next year WILL be better. I’m praying that you will have “the peace that passes all understanding” during your hospital stay and especially between now and the surgery.
