I can understand your frustrations with all the different advice floating around. Seems the best advice would be to go by what makes YOU feel best. I think most graves sufferers who read this will agree. Only person who knows how you feel is you, yourself. What made you feel better? Taking drugs first thing upon waking? Evening? Are you switching your drugs and experimenting? This may be causing your feelings of downward slides, I don’t know. Personally, when I take my meds the same time everyday I notice that I feel much better than if I forget them or take them in off-hours.
I hope this helps you in some small way.

This question goes way back. I now have three different opinions on when to take Synthroid. My Endo says that I can take it either before or after breakfast. Dr. Morrow sets time limits. The Thyroid Book by Dr. Surks has quite a few options. Help! I have been on Synthroid since 1995 and I have yet to experience a “return to normal.” In fact, I am losing ground. Any suggestions? By the way, I have been reading the BB for quite a while and have learned more about my Grave’s through all of you than I have from the medical profession. You’ve helped to restore my sanity more than once.
