        Hi Jan
I saw your posting from 11/6 as responding to “where do we go from here” I just wanted to run this by you. My endo, I should say my ex-endo basiclly felt like Bobbi. That is to say, once the thyroid is gone you’re all better… balh, blah, blah. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I asked him about taking sinus and allergy medication; the over the counter stuff. But it says on it not to take it if you have a thyroid disease. His response to me was if I don’t have a thyroid how can I have a thyroid disease? So he was a jerk in alot of ways and I am seeing someone else now and I had kind-of forgotten that conversation until I read those postings. So I found your response of interest. My understanding was the same as yours. Just wanted to respond to you.
        thanks,
        Trish

Excellent question, better answer I have always had a question about donating blood; if after RAI, can a person (continue to) be a blood donor?
