No one in my family has this either, on my mother’s or father’s side. Heck,
I don’t think any of us knew it existed (at least on more than a superficial level).
I read that a certain percentage of the population have a genetic tendency toward
autoimmune disorders, but for the most part it remains untriggered. We just
