Yes, I have Graves. I have yet to have RAI, b/c I have moved around so much the last couple years. My doctor wanted to do it last summer but then I got pregnant, so I couldn’t have it done. I suppose I will have RAI done this summer or so. I just moved to North Carolina and need to apply for medicare (have no insurance and am broke as it is from paying doctor/hospital bills from this disease ) and get a new doctor here. Then I should have RAI done. I have been on PTU for a couple years now and my GD will not quit on it’s own, and all my previous doctors recommended it. I dread having it done, because you have to stay away from people for a few days and that means not hugging and being with my little boy. Wish I could answer your RAI questions, but I haven’t had it done. Sorry.
