Hi there! Hope you are seeing the Dr. soon (hematologist) re low
platelets. Your platelets are important in blood clotting. Your liver
plays a big part in this and if you have been on A.T.D.’s for awhile
this could be the cause of lowered platelet counts. Just be careful
not to fall, cut yourself etc. If you do be sure to push firmly on
the area (will take longer) to ensure the bleeding stops. If you bump
yourself watch for bruising that gets large and if so call the Dr.
