Yeah, Patty. Don’t you just love those little comments from some &%$ doctors. There is some myth out there that smoking is a cause of the eye disease. hence his question.

Interesting you mention that smoking can aggravate Graves’ eye problems. I am a non-smoker and have never smoked. Recently I visited an Opthamalogist @ UCLA that specializes in Graves’ eye problems. After our consultation, when he was dictating the information, he said “and she CLAIMS to be a non-smoker” (like he didn’t quite believe me). Now I understand why, though I still think it was tacky.

Bruce is right 12/06/96. I didn’t get to read your question first. I’m real
new at this internet . but had to say for being new – finding this place took
a lot of patients.

I’ll look around and maybe find out what I’m doing – and not click on some-
ones cursor.
