Hi Jalee – I have my mask made and my first orbital irradiation treatment tomorrow so I will let you know after the treatments how it works. I started noticing my eyes, which have always been 20/20 with very weak reading glasses at the age of 51, began to not focus when I was reading. From the bottom of one page to the top of the other I felt dizzy and it seemed strange. I just thought my eyes were getting worse. Then the redness, weeping and swelling. It just came on fairly quickly. Yes – you should see an eye specialist. Preferrably one that deals in and knows about Graves. We have an excellent one here in Vancouver BC and I feel I am in good hands. Sorry, while I was writing this we just got news that a good friend suffered a heart attack today and my mind is in two places. Let everyone remember – things could be worse!!! Take care. SAS

Good Luck with your radiation treatments. I had treatments twice andwish you the best. Glad you are seeing someone who specializes inGraves.
