Thanks, Jake, for your wonderful story. My family is blessed that the
Ute Indian tribe chose to allow us to adopt one of their own, little
Darby, my six-year-old neice. Unfortunately, we are unable to teach
her of her heritage since we are all mixes of God only knows what. She
      is our little miracle.

And, your Dad — wow, what an incredible human being. I know how dear
he is to you. Lost mine in 1979 and miss him every day. So, I must be
content to see him in the clouds and hear him in the wind.

How’s your needlepoint coming along? The stocking I’m making is near
completion. It’s for Darby’s new little brother. Even with my puffy
eyes and occasional “poor-me-blues,” I am committed to this work of
      love.

Please continue to post your thoughts. I love to hear from you.

Hi Jake! Thanks for the beautiful message. (sniff) Memories are some of my happiest thoughts. I also like this thought – It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow. My best to you and your family. It’s been a challenging year to say the least.
