    Hi all,

I got out of the hospital this AM and am feeling OK. I had the same thought Luci did that the high altitude may have triggered the heart problem and told the Doc
so as well. In fact it was the major reason I was a butt head all day and tried to ignore the
problem. I kept saying it was a pulled muscle, altitude problems etc but I finally tried the Nitro pills
and they did not work. A call to the Doctor said go to emergency! What fun!!! Turns out the Doc said the
heart is OK but the carteledge around the sturnum and the sack around the heart was inflamed. HE said it is called
tsitsi syndrom??? Never heard of it but will try to find out more. Said I should be right as rain in a few weeks.
Will keep you all posted. Thanks for your moral (or immoral support in some cases)!!!

    Love to you all
Jake (You can’t get rid of me that easy) Achgook

Well, as I posted a couple of weeks ago, I’m going to begin a new job on Thursday and I think I’ll have the Internet, but am not sure. So, if I don’t get to correspond with all of you, I’ll miss out. I went to south Texas on vacation – to the gulf and had a wonderfull, lazy time. When we got back we watched the videos and that was the first time since graves that I saw myself. My eyes look constantly tired and puffy, I’ve gained weight except for my face which looks drawn. I’m learning to accept (kinda) the change in my appearance. Well, I imagine I’ll be off the bb after Wednesday until next week at least. Has anyone else experienced tired, starring eyes and what can you do to help the problem.

Cheryl, My eyes differ from day to day. In the beginning both were puffy and every morning when I woke up I put a ice pack [the kind that is squishey and moves] on my eyes for a hour. I would make sure it was on both eyes but not the eyeball…I made a little pocket. My eyes got better but it has changed my appearance. I look tired and under my eyes are like dark circles and it looks like my face has moved foward a bit. At times it even look indented along with the dark. =( *grin* I also just found something called “Dermablend” its a cosmetic cover up by Elisabeth Arden. It works pretty good to hide alot of dark or the flaws in the skin. Question….is there people working on a cure for GD??
