same here. i have osteopenia in my spine and borderline osteopenia in my hips. so i’ve increased my weight lifting and i’ve started taking vitamin K, boron, manganese, and a few other minerals and I’m using natural progesterone cream in lieu of the prempro the doc recommended. i did lose a tooth while eating a carrot when I was in my twenties. i’ll be re-tested in sept. so i’ll let you know if my plan works.

Is the bone thinning caused from the Graves? The teeth would make sense
since they both require calcium. Do you take calcium supplements? I asked my Dr. yesterday if I needed a Bone Density Scan – but she said no – that if I’m still having my periods – there should be plenty of calcium there. It didn’t make sense to me. Also, my Endo specializes in osteoporosis – or is that common with all Endo’s? #:-)
